Complying with the ADA and California Title 24 can be confusing…
What are my obligations as a business owner?
How do I keep from getting sued?
How do I get my property surveyed?
Casper Development Resources can help you make sense of The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and your requirements as a business owner. In order to ensure that you are in compliance with applicable ADA and California Title 24 regulations, your place of business needs to be surveyed by a Certified Access Specialist (CASp). This facility survey includes an inspection of your property and a detailed Barrier Report identifying the features that do not comply with the ADA and State accessibility requirements.
Site Accessibility Reports and Compliance Plans include:
- Comprehensive property survey comparing each area and feature of the site with the currently enforceable requirements of the ADA and Title 24
- Accessibility Report which identifies the compliant and non compliant features of each area
- Included in the Accessibility Report is a Barrier Report which includes photographs and descriptions identifying each barrier and a Priority Plan for barrier removal, based on ADA requirements
- Barrier Report can easily be transitioned into a Barrier Removal Business Plan, which identifies a strategy and cost analysis for complying with the ADA and California Title 24
